![]() A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the offices of Lingard Broadcasting, 1359 Road 681, Saltillo, Mississippi during normal business hours Monday through Friday, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Post Office Box 1732, Tupelo, Mississippi 38802. 1. No purchase necessary to enter or win.
2. Must be at least 21 years of age to enter. If a ticket prize is awarded, the winner's guest to the American Idol show(s) must be at least six (6) years old. 3. All contests are open to the general public except for employees, agents, subsidiaries, their immediate families, household members, and affiliates of WLOV, Lingard Broadcasting, WTVA Inc., Southern Broadcasting Inc., and participating sponsors. 4. An individual may win an ongoing contest only once per thirty-day period unless otherwise specifically stated. An individual may win other seasonal or one-time contests only once for the duration of the contest. 5. Contest entry period is February 24–March 21, 2010. Entry for the grand prize must be made in person at Bassett…And More Furniture Superstore in Tupelo, Mississippi. Entry for first prizes must be made by listening to WCNA Rock 95 and following the instructions given on-air. 6. One grand prize will be awarded, consisting of two (2) tickets to a Top Four show of American Idol, roundtrip air accommodations to Hollywood, California, and two nights hotel accommodations. Choice of air carrier and hotel and level of accommodations is at the sole discretion of the sponsor(s). First prizes will be awarded, consisting of an assortment of American Idol-branded merchandise as determined by the legal sponsor. Content of first prize packs is subject to the availability of American Idol-branded merchandise, and the sponsor(s) cannot guarantee prize content, value, or number of first prizes to be awarded. 7. Entry may be made during the entry period, at designated sponsor locations or as otherwise described in the contest rules. Lingard Broadcasting and contest sponsor(s) are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged entries. 8. The grand prize winner will be drawn in a random drawing on Monday, March 22, 2010 and contacted via telephone or other method. First prize winners will be notified the same date as their win, and contacted via telephone or other method. 9. In the event of a tie, a winner will be determined by random drawing or other means deemed appropriate by the sponsor(s). Lingard Broadcasting will determine the validity of all winners, and its decision shall be final. 10. All State, Local, Federal, and/or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees and expenses related to contest prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner. All entrants who win a prize/prizes valued at over $600 will be issued an IRS Form 1099 to report their winnings. 11. All prizes are awarded as is. Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be sold to or used by any person(s) other than the winner and the winner's designated guest. 12. The sponsor(s) shall not be responsible for the failure of participating sponsors to deliver prizes as promised. In the event production of American Idol is cancelled or postponed, the ticket portion of the prizing may be cancelled without substitution or compensation therefore. 13. All entrants and winners agree that WLOV, Lingard Broadcasting, contest sponsors and their affiliates, FOX Broadcasting Company, News Corporation, FOX Digital Media, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., American Idol Productions, Inc., 19 TV Ltd., 19 Merchandising Ltd., CKX, Inc., their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and the officers, directors, employees, licensees, and assignees of each shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or nonuse of any prize received. 14. All prizes must be claimed in person at the offices of Lingard Broadcasting during regular business hours and within ten business days of winning, excluding holidays. After such time, ownership of said prize will revert back to the sponsor(s), to be disposed of at their discretion, with the winner losing all claims and rights to said prize. 15. Proper identification must be presented to claim prize. Winners will be required to fill out a Winner’s Affidavit and Release. 16. All entry blanks, forms, devices, and materials, as well as all the information contained on or within, gathered during the course of entry, shall become the sole property of Lingard Broadcasting to be used, disposed of, or destroyed at the discretion of the company. 17. All entrants and winners agree that sponsor(s) may broadcast or publish their name, city of residence, photo, video tape, film, or any other likeness, including their voice, recorded or live, for any reason the station deems necessary, without compensation. All entrants further agree to hold the sponsor(s) blameless and without liability for such publication, broadcast, or use. 18. The sponsor(s) reserve the right to end contest at any time without any advanced notice to the public. 19. The sponsor(s) reserve the right to limit the number of times an individual may enter a contest or drawing. 20. The sponsor(s) reserve the right to require contestants to be present at drawings in order to win their prize. 21. Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win any contest by fraud, deception, or cheating shall be grounds for Lingard Broadcasting to disqualify that individual from participating in all current and future contests and events, at the sole discretion of the company, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by fraudulent means.
