College seeks grant money for renovations
MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WLOV) Rust College looks to grant to help restore campus.
Authorities have asked the Marshall County Board of Supervisors to support its application for a $800,000 grant to help restore five historic buildings on the former Mississippi Industrial College campus.
Rust is a historically black college in Holly Springs with an enrollment of about 900. MORE...

MSU's Russell honored by SEC
Mississippi State quarterback Tyler Russell has been named the SEC's Freshman of the Week.
Russell completed 13-of-16 passes for 256 yards and four touchdowns in MSU's 49-7 win against Memphis. The four TD passes tied a school single-game record.
In his first series, Russell led the Bulldog offense on a seven-play, 91-yard drive for a touchdown.
Russell started the second half completing six straight passes for 109 yards and two TDs as State opened up a 42-0 lead midway through the third quarter. MORE...
